Brian Rosenworcel plays percussion for the band Guster, and sometimes updates the band’s online road journal.  There’s a lot to dig into here, but Houston 2003 is a good place to start.  Brian lives in Brooklyn NY.

Hi Brian. Mindy Weiss here, Tufts ’95. Don’t know if you would remember me, but I knew Adam Gardner back in the Tufts days. I sang with the Mates when he sang in the Bubs. I’m out in Stay at Home PTA Mommy land out in the Bay Area, and was jogging my brain to think of what I might be able to score for my son’s elementary school auction. (This event is so huge it’s almost embarrassing.) I’m in charge of “merchant donations,” and I was trying to think of what I could come up with that might be outside the usual “dinner for two at local restaurant.” I was wondering if you guys might have any cool autographed stuff you might feel like sending out. Or do you have any plans to be in the Bay Area? Maybe some tix and a “meet the band?” sort of thing?

If you think you might be interested, I have an “official” pitch letter and all. Just thought I would first send an inquiry and see if it was at all possible. If you’d rather I ask Adam directly, I’d be happy to if you can let me know how to get a hold of him.

Thanks for considering it. Only reason I thought you really might is because even from the beginning, you guys were always all about your fans. You’ve always been so gracious that way. Thanks again for your time.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! We saw you in Chicago last year, and we moved to Phoenix. We never thought we’d see you again. Tonight was my hubby “Tums”‘ 27th Guster show. He followed you all over the US until he had to do real stuff like raise a family. Come back to Phoenix, please. Tonight was an epic set. Thank you all for making the journey and the effort.
